You're a man of wisdom, Charlie! I would not be as patient as you, but hey, ya can't argue with Poseidon, right? Great that you're staying chill and doing your weather-bound thing. Meanwhile, Lahinch is one of the great golf courses of the world. I know that's not your thing, i.e. playing ... but it might be cool to visit, just to see what a world-class Irish "track" looks and feels like. Just a thought, my friend! "Sit chilly!"
100% Poseidon is not to be crossed. We have a whole epic about how that goes! Lahinch is gorgeous. So rugged looking. Did you get a chance to play there when you were over?
We did play Lahinch, Charlie. It was one of the places we had booked a year in advance, along with Ballybunnion and Royal Portrush. A work of art that you can walk into. Good luck with your new top-secret plans to get going. It must be tough, being weather-bound. This is the shit you may plan for mentally ahead of time but nothing can prepare you for the hours and the frustration when you're actually in it. Good luck and Godspeed!
Absolutely. And I have to remember, getting stuck is part of the trip. Patience. Lahinch sounds like another kind of patience—booking a year in advance. Unreal.
We are all close to you in our thoughts! I imagine that this situation can't be easy but the sun will come out soon again and will shine for you only! Stay tuned and keep on going ! ❤️
